Advanced Camp

Our Advanced Course is open to any junior or adult that has participated in our courses this year or has achieved a level 2 skills award in the past.

The camp aims to progress their skills even further. Whilst covering safety & rescues whilst out on the water- skills they can keep for life! During the end of the week, we also take the juniors onto moving water for the first time. Kayaking down the Lower Corrib through Galway City provides a unique aspect of seeing the city! We cover skills and rescue methods that would be seen in the level 3 whitewater skills award. The course aims to act as a level 3 skills award training week. Where juniors get a great taste of whether they would like to pursue kayaking to an even higher level!
